Growing up, my sister used to take me to Tri-City Raceway, in West Richland, Washington. I can still remember the thrill and excitement of cheering on not only my brother whom raced, but many of our family friends. Like many sports, racing is full of passionate people. Needless to say, that rubbed off on me. I began to race any and everything I could. Being a single parent, my mother couldn't afford to support me racing go karts or anything of that nature. Still, I had that passion. I began racing slot cars and RC cars. Anything that could give me that fix! Racing in those avenues introduced me to great people that would end up becoming very influential in my life, though I didn't realize it at the time. I jumped at the opportunity to help on a 4cyl pure stock car that was going to race at the same track I grew up a fan. There, I learned just how important the fabrication aspect of racing really is. I became increasingly interested in how race cars worked, as well as the pride you feel after hand crafting something.
Eventually I met the Tidrick family, whom took me in as one of their own. Like me, they were racing junkies, just with a lot more knowledge. Bj and I would end up becoming best friends and I would like to believe that the competitor in both of us helped push us to become our best selves.
Now out of highschool, I had to decide what I wanted to do with my life. At the time, I figured my best option was to take my passion for welding and fabricating to the next level. In 2002, I began taking welding courses at Columbia Basin College. Since then, I have held fabricating jobs from building hand rails to airplanes.
After years of working on race cars, I decided to do some racing on my own! I had a short stint in Latemodels and after taking some time off, I decided to try my hand at Legend Cars.
One day I decided to start my own fabrication business. I enjoy being able to be creative and do something different every day, including working on race cars on occasion. While working for a K&N East car in NC, my best friend Bj Tidrick called me and brought up the idea of being in business together. Since then, we have enjoyed not only success, but have also built up an incredible customer base of great people. We look forward to what the future has in store!
