Biography

Perhaps the winningest driver in Flathead Valley racing history, Dan Morris has been circling the race track for 34 years. He got started in 1975 with a '57 chevy in the C-class. In the ensuing years he has been crowned season champ in street stocks, limited sportsman and late models. He has run in 5 Montana 200 races and placed 2nd in one and 3rd in another. He also has won a number of Limited Sportsman 125 races. He has turned more laps around Raceway Park and Big Sky Speedway than anyone, partly because most years he fielded and ran 2 cars in different classes. For his excellence on the racetrack, Dan Morris is a 2009 Hall of Fame inductee.
