Bob Schweigert

Biography
Bob Schweigert started racing on dirt tracks in the early '70's at Pablo and old Miller Creek Speedway in Missoula. He won a couple season championships with the Stock Car Racing Association of Montana (SCRAM) that included races on dirt tracks across the state. He started racing on asphalt in 1975 when Big Sky Speedway was built in Kalispell. He has recorded over 100 wins in his career which include 3 wins in the "Apple Cup" which is an open comp race for late model superstocks held yearly at Yakima Speedway in Washington. He has raced with the likes of Derek Cope and Chad Little and helped put Kalispell on the map in the racing world with his competitive touring.
Bob can still be seen competing in late model events and the Montana 200 and with his sons have built some of the fastest race cars in the Northwest out of their shop in Evergreen.
